Don’t you just love a video that is short & sweet? I loaded a brand spanking new video review of the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation a couple of days ago and the best part is – it’s a 60 second review. Trust me, reviewing a product in 1 minute is quite challenging but it’s definitely a lot of fun as well. I think throwing some of these short review videos into the mix is nice, because it also caters for those who don’t have a ton of internet data available.
It’s difficult to find a good quality foundation at the drugstore – one that is suitable for your specific skin type AND skin tone, one that provides decent coverage, and something that lasts well (without having to use a makeup primer underneath).
Did I love the foundation? Did I hate it? Don’t know…you’ll have to check out the video to see. Click on the image below and it will take you straight through to my video on YouTube:
Remember to watch the video in HD (720p at least), the quality is just so much better.
Just a few extra notes on the foundation:
♥ This is what Rimmel has to say about this foundation: A match so perfect, it’s undetectable in any light! Light perfecting radiance foundation, traceless coverage and perfectly flawless skin under any light.
♥ I’ve been testing this foundation for the last 2 weeks with absolutely no makeup primer and I find it lasts really well, I get about 6 hours of wear before I need to blot my T-zone. I’m wearing only the foundation in this video (no primer) and set it with my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (in Translucent) – keeping it in the family. I’ve also used my MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural to set it and it looks bee-ootiful!
♥ The lightest shade (100 Ivory) was a bit too light for me, so I also purchased the shade up from it (200 Soft Beige) – I just mix them together to create my perfect shade.
♥ You can use a makeup brush or your fingers to apply this foundation, but it’s a bit too runny to be used with a makeup sponge like the Beautyblender (I find a lot of product is absorbed into the sponge).
♥ There are 6 shades available in the range.
