Two videos on ONE week? Wow, I’m on a roll! I’m trying to get back into uploading one video per week again, so I thought I’d start off with a double-whammy! Today I’ll be sharing my first video as a Revlon #LoveSquadSA member with you – I’m quite excited about this video because it’s one of those ‘check-in-during-the-day-to-see-how-well-the-foundation-lasts-on-a-hot-day’ type of videos. In today’s video I review the Revlon Colorstay 24H Makeup Foundation, plus I also show you how the foundation applies (demo) and what type of makeup tool I like to use to give me the best coverage and finish. After that I check in with you during the day to show you how the foundation is holding up – in this video I do 3 check-ins, and I wear the foundation for more than 10 hours. It was a hot day when I filmed the video, so the foundation was definitely put to the test!
Here’s what Revlon has to say about their Colorstay Makeup Foundation for Combination / Oily Skin: “All-day flawless matte finish. Now with a mess-free pump and SPF protection. Flawless, matte coverage that lasts up to 24 hours. Comfortable, lightweight formula specifically made for combination or oily skin to control oil absorption and shine. Buildable to full coverage, contains salicylic acid to balance skin over time, oil-free formula, and contains SPF 15.”
As mentioned in the video, there are 2 variants available for the Revlon Colorstay Makeup Foundation – 1 for combination / oily skin (which is the one I review in the video), and 1 for normal / dry skin. In total, there are 27 longwearing shades available!

One thing I’d like to mention with regards to this video:
I used the shade ‘Nude’ in the video, I know it looks quite pale when I first apply it to my face but it’s actually a bit darker in real life. Because I’m using softbox lights and a ring light in my videos now, they do tend to brighten / lighten up certain makeup shades. I’m also struggling with a lot of redness on my skin at the moment (stress, hormones, etc) – so that’s why the difference is so noticeable when I compare the one half of my face that is bare, to the other half that is covered with 1 layer of foundation on. As soon as my entire face is covered with the foundation, you’ll see the shade matches my neck perfectly.
I’m currently running a Revlon Colorstay Foundation competition on my Instagram page! I’m looking for ladies who are also using the Colorstay Foundation (in ANY SHADE) – here are the details:
