Products Popping Up – June 2014

So May turned out to be a pretty bad month – wait, let me rephrase that….  May sucked.  I don’t want to go into too much detail, but Neal had an accident on his mountain bike and broke his collarbone, 2 pets in our family passed away, and Daisy (our little rescue dog) has been having to serious health issues.

On the upside, though, my sister-in-law gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.  Welcome to the world, baby Amelia!

I don’t have anything planned for the month of June, and I want to keep it that way because May was a very busy month for me.  Here are some dates that I want to highlight to you guys for the month of June:

I’m quite happy to call myself a geek, so I am very excited about that iFix wireless keyboard and I am obsessed with wood at the mo, so I am going to pick that up for sure.

Also, the beauty girl in me is just as excited about the Essie nail polishes, the Redken hair products and the Sigma brow pencils (I find the powders are difficult to work with for me personally).

    Great post, Luzanne!

    • Luzanne 5 June 2014 / 09:16

The keyboard does look awesome, so sleek and chic as well.

Yes, brow powders can sometimes be difficult to work with (especially when you have thin brows and you want to fill them out quite a bit), so I’m also a fan of brow pencils. And now, I really want to try out a brow pomade (like the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade). x

      Thank you, Lily. xxx

  12. Camilla (Jane Wonder) 4 June 2014 / 07:55

LUZANNE! You’re going to bankrupt me!!

Do you think the Filorga Time-Filler Eyes will help with my crow-feet/laugh lines (the ones on the outside if your eyes??

    • Luzanne 5 June 2014 / 09:06

I’m always happy to feed any beauty obsession. :) I’ve read a good number of reviews on the eye cream and it seems everyone has been impressed with the results i.e. reducing dark circles, smoothing and plumping around the eye area (even eyelid wrinkles) and also boosting eyelash growth / volume. I do think this will definitely help for crows’ feet – I’m hoping to try out this product in the future (I was recently contacted my Filorga SA), so will definitely let you know how I like it. x

  13. Cara Fay Glaser 4 June 2014 / 09:28

so excited for the body shop releases, Zoe spoke about it in her favourites!! YAY! Did you notice that wet and wild have a polish with the same name as one of Tanya Burrs nail polishes – Champagne Toast!

    • Luzanne 5 June 2014 / 09:00

I saw she spoke about the body sorbets (only she was using them as body washes 😉 ). You are so right – I didn’t even notice that! The purple nail polish looks stunning, I saw a swatch online and it’s so beautiful.
