MIY – Egg White & Cucumber Face Mask for Sensitive Skin…plus a jolly little GIVEAWAY

This mask is perfect for the ladies out there who suffer from highly sensitive skin (but to be honest, anyone can make this mask because it is so mild).  Add 2 cucumber slices to your eyes and you’ll feel brand spanking new, just in time for the upcoming Christmas parties!

Here’s what you’ll need:

♥  1 Egg White

♥  1 Tsp Cucumber Juice

♥  1 Tsp Yoghurt (I like using the natural one from Parmalat)

♥  1 Tsp Honey

For the cucumber juice, grate about 1/6 of a cucumber and then squeeze the juice out of the grated bits (using clean hands).  Beat the egg white until it becomes frothy.  Add the honey and chilled yoghurt to the egg white.  Add the cucumber juice last.  Mix until all the ingredients are well-incorporated.   Apply the mask to your cleansed face, using clean hands or a sanitised makeup brush.  Leave the mask on for about 15 minutes, gently rinse it off with luke warm water and pat your face dry.  Apply a your favourite moisturiser suitable for your skin type.

Beauty Facts:

♥  Honey contributes to relieving irritated skin because of its mild antiseptic and antibacterial properties.

♥  Yoghurt helps moisturise the skin, prevents premature aging, fights acne, relieves sunburn and reduces discolouration.  Yoghurt contains Lactic Acid to help smooth and gently exfoliate the skin whilst reducing fine lines and wrinkles by tightening your pores.

♥  Cucumbers sooth sunburn, refresh your skin tissue & hydrate the eye area.

♥  Egg whites are high in natural collagen and vitamin A (which is essential in the development of products that are able to treat scars or burns), therefore a treatment which includes egg whites will help you treat skin issues like Rosacea, large pores, acne or other rashes.
