Garnier ‘What’s Your BB’ Campaign {Part 2} …plus a little GIVEAWAY

By now,I bet you know all there is to know about BB creams.  If not, here’s a little refresher: BB creams (short for beauty balm or blemish balm) have been popular among Korean and Japanese women since the  early 1980s for their multi-purpose benefits.  They are basically supercharged tinted moisturisers – usually with anti-aging ingredients and SPF to protect against the harmful rays of the sun.

BB creams help deal with skin concerns such as discolouration, dullness, blotchiness and dryness.  The Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector BB creams combines moisturising skincare with skin perfecting coverage.  The result?  Skin that looks naturally more even, radiant and smooth.

As mentioned in previous blog posts Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a great moisturising agent and the Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector BB cream contains both HA and an SPF of 15.  So it moisturises the skin whilst protecting it too.  The light formula covers minor imperfections, blends easily and doesn’t leave your skin feeling like you’ve packed on your makeup.

So here’s how I will be running the Garnier giveaways…

To enter for the GRAND prize i.e. the Garnier pamper day that you will be spending with me, I need you to do the following:  Send me a photo of yourself holding your favourite skincare product (my email address is listed under the ‘Contact Me’ page above).  Also, tell me a bit more about yourself (where you live, what your hobbies are etc) and why you chose the specific skincare product to be photographed with you (i.e. “I chose the this product because it moisturises my sensitive skin” but you are welcome to give me more detail than that).  The more information you give me about yourself, the better because I need to get to know you.  At the end of January, I will choose one lucky lady whom I have gotten to know a bit better and we will be whisked off to a wonderful spa day with Garnier.

For the spot prizes i.e. Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB creams I will be randomly picking 6 winners from my blog and 6 winners from my blog’s Facebook page.

Here’s how it will work:  The 6 winners chosen from my blog will be chosen randomly but in order to be entered into the giveaway, you need to comment on my Garnier blog post for that specific week.  So starting this week you need to comment on this post to be entered.  Don’t worry, I will tell you guys in each blog post whether you need to comment on the post to be entered, so you’re sure not to miss a thing!  Once I have chosen the winner, I will send you an email to get your postal address (so make sure the email you specify in the comment details, is valid).  In the comment below you need to tell me which skin type you have (oily, dry, normal, combo etc) and which one of the Garnier BB cream shades you would use (Light, Medium or Dark).

And for the Facebook spot prizes, it’s fairly simple too.  Whenever you see a heart at the bottom of a picture that I load onto my blog’s Facebook page, send me an email immediately to claim your BB prize.  See the little heart in the picture below?  That’s the one you’re looking for!

Just mention in the email which picture you saw it on, what skin type you have (oily, normal, dry etc), whether you would use the Light, Medium or Dark shade, and include your full name and postal address.  Go ‘like’ my blog’s Facebook page here, so you won’t miss a post.

I’m really looking forward to getting to know you guys a bit better, so don’t forget to start sending me those photos!  Good luck!

{UPDATE}  Congratulations, Depashni!  You are the first winner of the Garnier BB cream!  I have sent you an email, please get back to me with your details as soon as you can.

Wow great giveaway! Unfortunately I live in CT so I can’t participate in a spa day 🙁 BUT I have a normal/dry skin and I believe I should be a shade light. Am I the last person in the world not to have tried a BB cream?
