Face Of The Day – Stila Eyes Are The Window Spirit Palette

Face Of The Day - Stila Eyes Are The Window Spirit Palette

I’m still on holiday and having an absolute ball!  Well…I’m writing this blog post in advance, so I hope I’m having a ball!  I’ve probably overdosed on Bubble Tea, NÜ Miracle Milk and Fairview goats cheese…hhhmmm…heaven!

Anyway, today I’m showing you what my favourite Stila Eyes Are The Window Spirit Palette eye look is – I must admit, I still play it safe when it comes to eyeshadow looks but I’m trying really hard to move away from my comfort zone (which is a warm neutral eye).  Granted, this is still a warm-ish look but I did play around with some of the other cooler toned shades too, called Espresso & Pewter.  I did a full review on the Stila Eyes Are The Window Spirit Palette, you can check it out here.  If you would like to check out my previous ‘Face Of The Day’ look (there’s a pop of turquoise, perfect forSpring / Summer), then click here.

Here is a list of all the products I used to achieve this full-face makeup look:

I bought the Stila palette after you did your review blog post. In love with the palette and now I can TRY to recreate this look (I’m no make-up pro though).

Please do more Face Of The Day blog posts, I really enjoy seeing what types of makeup products you use.

Would also really appreciate a blog post on “must have” makeup brushes, like a kit for beginners.

I told Luzanne she needs to start claiming commission from somebody. I also went out and bought this palette after her review…plus a gazillion other things. lol.

Bwahaha!!! You make me laugh every single time, Simone! 🙂 I hope you had a lovely time in Cape Town! x

Don’t worry, Olivia, I had no idea how to apply makeup (especially eyeshadows) a couple of years ago. All it takes is a bit of practice and experimentation. 🙂

I’ll definitely be doing more FOTD posts, and will do that ‘makeup brush kit for beginners’ post soon too.

Gosh! I wish I could do my makeup like you! This look suits you so well, really brings out your eyes.

And that lipgloss is beautiful too! So glad to see a blogger that features a mix of luxury and affordable brands. So glad I discovered your beautiful blog. 🙂

    • 17 November 2014 / 16:43

Aaaaah…thank you so much for your kind words, Jenna. I’m sure with a bit of practice, you could be even better at applying makeup than I am. 🙂

Hehehee! You hit the nail on the head, Simone! Luzanne should most def earn commission from brands, I’ve bought so many products because of her and her blog. She’s the ultimate beauty product enabler lol!

    • 17 November 2014 / 16:41

Hahaha! Love this, you guys!! 😀 You always make me chuckle with these commission comments & tweets! 😀

That lid colour is gorge! Love how you used one of the eyeshadows to highlight the tip of your nose, very clever!
